BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Media Advisory) — Effective October 5, Palm Tran, Palm Beach County’s public transportation system, will implement routing and/or schedule changes to eight routes to improve service and on-time performance.
Route 10, North County Crosstown: Schedule change.
Route 31, via 45th Street West Palm Beach Crosstown: Schedule and route change; Route 31 will serve Northpoint Center at bus stops on 45th Street only.
Route 40, via State Road 80 – West Palm Beach to Belle Glade: Route change; Route 40 will stay on State Road 80 to Glades Health Center on the first westbound trip in the morning. Route 40 will no longer serve Glades Day School on Gator Blvd. on this first trip.
Route 44, via Belvedere Road West Palm Beach Crosstown: Schedule and route change; Route 44 will no longer serve Old Okeechobee Blvd. Route 44 will now serve Worthington Road between N. Florida Mango Road and Australian Avenue.
Route 64, via Melaleuca/6th Avenue South — Greenacres to Lake Worth: Route change; Route 64 will serve Palm Beach State College/Lake Worth at bus stops on 6th Avenue South only.
Route 52, Royal Palm Beach Crosstown: Schedule and route change; Route 52 will enter the Mall at Wellington Green from State Road 7/US 441 and will serve the mall before the park-and-ride lot. Route 52 will serve Calypso Bay Waterpark at bus stops on Southern Blvd only.
Route 73, via Boynton Beach Blvd. — Boynton Beach Crosstown: Schedule change.
Route 91, via Glades Road — Boca Raton Crosstown: Schedule change.
