BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Media Advisory) — At 4:11pm today, October 27, 2014, Boca Raton Fire Rescue responded to an apartment fire located at 460 NW 20th Street, Boca Raton. When firefighters arrived they found fire and heavy black smoke pouring out of a third floor apartment.
A babysitter and a young girl made it out of the apartment safely before firefighters arrived. Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the blaze and prevent further fire extension.
Several families will be displaced while the fire is investigated and the apartments affected are restored to a livable space. The fire is still under investigation.
