BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — Alisha Dawn Hammond of Hinton, West Virginia (which is truly in the middle of nowhere — just click here) is now in the Palm Beach County Jail. (Population: larger than Hinton, WV). She is charged with Grand Theft Auto.
Boca Police took Hammond into custody mid-day Wednesday. She is now being held in lieu of $5,000 bond.
We’ll update when we receive more information, though it may not be until after the moonshines. (Get it? A little West Virginia humor right here in Boca!)
*****NOTE: TO all of you emailing… you can stop. West Virginia is a beautiful place. No offense was intended towards West Virginia. Please take this moment and enjoy the following lyrics by John Denver, because we just couldn’t say it better ourselves:

Almost heaven, West Virginia, Blue Ridge Mountains, Shenandoah River.
Life is old there, older than the trees, younger than the mountains, blowing like a breeze.
Country roads, take me home to the place I belong.
West Virginia, mountain momma, take me home, country roads.
