BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — Congratulations to teachers and students at Waters Edge Elementary — one of the most respected elementary schools in Palm Beach County. The school competed with 50 others in what can best be described as a “smart kid competition” and won. The competition is known as SECME, for Science, Engineering, Communication, Mathematics and Enrichment.
From Palm Beach County Schools:

Waters Edge Elementary now holds the title of 2015 SECME Champions.
The students and coordinators from 50 elementary schools in Palm Beach
County participated in the SECME Olympiad on Saturday, February 28,
2015. The students of Waters Edge won trophies in several categories:
1st place in Brain Bowl, 1st place in poster, 1st & 2nd place in
generator, and 3rd place in water bottle rockets. All which led Waters Edge Elementary to be SECME Champions for 2015!
