Rescuers Pull Driver After Car Plunges Into West Boca Canal

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (From Palm Beach County Fire Rescue) — At 2pm crews responded to reports of a car in a canal near the 21900 block of Dairy Rd, Callers stated they saw a vehicle go into the canal and bystanders were jumping in to assist. First arriving firefighters reported one occupant out on the bank of the canal. Firefighters and PBSO deputies entered the canal and confirmed there were no other occupants inside the submerged vehicle. The patient, an adult male, has been transported to an area hospital by helicopter.
