BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — A critical accident at the intersection of Boca Rio Road and Boca Lago Blvd. has left one person dead.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office says Percieval Albert — of Delray Beach — was driving a 2014 Toyota southbound on Boca Rio Road, approaching Boca Lago Blvd.
Bryan Paul Sirkes, driving a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix, was driving northbound on Boca Rio Blvd., approaching Boca Lago Blvd.
Albert, according to investigators, attempted to make a left turn onto Boca Lago Blvd., causing a violent collision with Sirkes. Sirkes’ Pontiac rotated and redirected through the southwest portion of the intersection and struck a concrete wall.
Albert’s Toyota rotated counter clockwise to final rest in the southwest portion of the intersection. He was later pronounced dead.
Two elderly passengers from Albert’s vehicle were admitted to area hospitals with critical injuries.
Sirkes was hospitalized with serious injuries.
The investigation continues.
