BOCA RATON, FL ( — The Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County is proud to announce that Lawrence Feldman, J.D. has been elected as its Vice Chair of Campaign.  Feldman was elected at the Federation’s recent 2015 Annual Meeting. In his new position, Feldman will lead a community-wide cadre of volunteers to raise millions of dollars for the local community, Israel, and 70 other countries overseas.

In addition to serving on the Board of the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach, Feldman is a current Board Member of the Boca Regional Hospital Foundation, and several other business, educational, civic, and philanthropic organizations. He is a lecturer at numerous schools, colleges and universities and advisor to entrepreneurs and startup companies in the U.S. and abroad.

Larry Feldman is currently the CEO of several diverse corporations, including two Subway Sandwich Divisions: Subway of South Florida and Subway Development Corporation of Washington (which is listed today as one of the country’s leading franchise operations by Entrepreneur Magazine). He is also the founder of Strategic Franchise Solutions, a business consulting firm designed to assist entrepreneurs in bringing their business dreams to the marketplace, as well as the creator of Hair Color Xperts, a cut-and-color salon franchise.

Feldman began his career in the political realm as Legislative Counsel to Congressman Stewart McKinney of Connecticut and a Minority Counsel for the U.S. House of Representatives. He was also on the Banking Committee’s Subcommittee on Economic Stabilization, and was the Assistant General Counsel to the Full Banking and Currency Committee of the U.S. House of Representatives, in Washington, DC.

A graduate of University of Bridgeport, Feldman received his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School. He has won multiple accolades for his work, including the Washington Business Journal Philanthropy Award for Small Business, the Smart CEO Magazine Award for Excellence in Philanthropy and Southern Business Leader Magazine’s 2012 South Florida Business Leader of the Year.

Feldman and his wife, Diane, have three sons and reside in Boca Raton. They spend much of their time doing charitable work, for which they were recently honored by Israel Bonds and received theRuth and Norman Rales Humanitarian of the Year Award from JFS, where Diane serves as a member of the Board’s Executive Committee.
