Armed Robbery Reported At BP Station On Glades At Butts

bpUPDATE: We received the following from the general counsel of Sun Gas Marketing and Petroleum, the owner of the BP Station in question. It seems management of the station is less than thrilled with the well documented alleged criminal activity at this location.

As General Counsel of Sun Gas Marketing & Petroleum – Glades, LLC, located at 5440 Glades Rd, Boca Raton, FL, I am respectfully requesting that you retract the article your company published.
I am also requesting that your company issue an apology for your libelous story, whereby you characterize our business as being “unofficially known as the most criminally active gas station in South Palm Beach County”.

BOCA RATON, FL ( — What we believe to be the most criminally active gas station in South Palm Beach County was the scene of an armed robbery early Monday morning.
Boca Raton Police responded to the BP station at 5440 West Glades Road after victims “reported they were robbed at gunpoint by two skinny white males, one 5’9″ and the other one 5’6” wearing all black, wearing black tank tops over their faces, and the taller male carrying a small black semi-automatic handgun,” according to a police report.
“The victims were working in the gas station when the suspects told them to open the register at gunpoint.”
The BP Station — over the past few years — is:
— Where a realtor allegedly performed oral sex on a teenager. That realtor is now in a federal prison.
— Where a man with a face tattooed to look like a tiger was arrested for drug possession.
— Where three teens were charged with selling cocaine.
— Where a driver was busted for DUI for actually drinking in her car in front of a police officer and driving on the curb.
— Where a young man purchased ten Dilaudid (1.7 grams).
…to name a few.
