Men's Health Subject of Symposium At Boca Regional Hospital


Boca Raton Regional HospitalBOCA RATON, FL ( (From Boca Regional) — The Eugene M. & Christine E. Lynn Cancer Institute will host its second annual Man Up! A Men’s Health Symposium, aimed to raise awareness of important men’s health issues. The event will feature a keynote speech by Eric Reid, longtime play-by-play announcer for the Miami Heat, a series of physician presentations, free men’s health screenings and complementary brunch.
Topics presented will focus on trends in health, wellness and early detection, exercise and nutrition, and will feature Boca Raton Regional Hospital physician speakers Alan Saitowitz, MD, internal medicine; Bob Schmidt, physical therapy assistant; and Marie Morande, RD, CSO, LD/N, clinical dietician. Screenings offered include blood pressure, cholesterol, glucose and body mass index. Skin screenings are available by appointment.
