Soroptimist is an organization for business and professional women who work to improve the lives of women and girls in local communities and throughout the world. Almost 80,000 Soroptimists in 130 countries contribute time and financial support to projects that benefit those in need from a host of perspectives.

Dr Martinez, who specializes in Preventative Medicine, has been a driving force in the Cardiovascular Disease Prevention Program at Boca Regional’s Christine E. Lynn Women’s Health & Wellness Institute and is implementing a Respite Care Program for families impacted by Alzheimer’s disease.
