Boca Police Investigate Carjacking

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Source: Boca PD) — Boca Raton, FL – On Tuesday, September 13 at about 1:50 a.m., Boca Raton Police officers responded to a reported carjacking at 4245 North Federal Highway. 
The victim told officers she parked in the parking lot of 4245 N. Federal Highway to make a phone call. As she was on the phone, she noticed a vehicle pull up behind her Lexus. A male got out of the vehicle, approached her and pointed a gun at her. The suspect demanded she get out of the Lexus and to give him her cell phone, which she did. The victim asked if he also wanted her purse, which he initially declined then was told by another suspect to take it. The first suspect got into her Lexus and drove away, followed by the suspect vehicle and the two other suspects. The victim was not injured.
The suspect is described as a black male in his 20’s, skinny build, clean shaven, approximately 5’6″ tall, with gold teeth and acne scars. The suspect was wearing a black and white or black and red baseball cap and was armed with a silver handgun with a long barrel, possibly a revolver. The victim could only identify the other two suspects as black males.
 The victim’s car is a 2016 dark blue Lexus RX350 SUV, bearing Florida tag DEHM95. If anyone has information about this crime, please call Detective Tim Kurdys at (561) 338-1377 or Palm Beach County Crime Stoppers at (800) 458-TIPS.
