BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Source: PBSO) — Deputies responded to an attempted burglary “in progress” in the 22600 block of SW 6th Street, Boca Raton (unincorporated) on Thursday, May 17, 2018.  Upon arrival deputies learned that the owner of the home was monitoring her home, from work, when she became aware that two suspects were attempting to break into her residence.  The homeowner immediately contacted her neighbor who confirmed her fears and interrupted the suspects plan.
 The suspects did not enter the home.  The suspects fled the scene in a stolen vehicle from Coconut Creek.  Deputies are doing extra patrol in the area. 
 This investigation is active and ongoing.
