Gas Leak Closes Entrance To “The Oaks” In Boca

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — A gas leak this morning snarled traffic on 441 near the entrance to “The Oaks,” just north of Clint Moore Road. All is now under control. Here is official word from Palm Beach County Fire Rescue:

At 9:08am crews responded to reports of a gas leak near the 9950 block of Bridgebrook Drive. First arriving firefighters reported that workers digging in the area damaged a 2 inch gas line. Firefighters from our Special Operations team were able to secure the line and stop the leak. The incident was turned over to the local utility. There were no reports of any injuries.
