DON’T PANIC: Boynton PD Set For Thursday SWAT Exercise

BOYNTON BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Source: Boynton Beach PD) — The Boynton Beach Police Department will be conducting a SWAT training exercise at the Boynton Beach Art Center, 125 SE 2nd Avenue, Thursday between 8am and 4pm.

During this time, residents of the neighborhood will see a large police presence in the parking lot of the Art Center and along 2ndAvenue, and they may hear periodic loud noises.

Traffic will not be impacted by this training exercise, and motorists will still be able to use 2nd Avenue to travel between Seacrest Boulevard and 1st Street.  Access to the Art Center parking lot will be restricted during the training exercise. Motorists and pedestrians should avoid the area if possible.
