BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — Boca’s Joseph Lasorda, 83, died Thursday in a multi-car crash near Lynn University.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office says Lasorda was traveling northbound on Military Trail near Potomac when he apparently turned left, in front of an oncoming car driven by Doug Immler, also of Boca.
From the police report, “this caused a violent collision between the front of (Immler’s) car and the driver side of (Lasorda’s) car.” Lasorda’s car was pushed into a third vehicle.
Lasorda was transported to Delray Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. Immler was transported to Boca Raton Regional Hospital.
