BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — Boca Raton resident Matthew Edelson, whose LinkedIn profile suggests he’s a server at Rocco’s Tacos, is currently serving time in the Palm Beach County Jail. Edelson is charged with battery on a person 65 years of age or older, and criminal mischief with property damage valued at more than $1000.
According to a police report, Edelson, 26, returned to the home of his ex-roommate, 65, and demanded a bag of Edelson’s personal items. Edelson, according to the police report, pushed and punched the 65-year-old victim.
The attacked allegedly happened in July, but Edelson — according to public records — neglected to show up in court for a hearing. He was arrested and is now being held without bond.
