BOYNTON BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Source: Boynton Beach Police) — Boynton Beach Police are warning the community about a man driving a tan car who solicited sex from a 12-year-old girl in a CVS parking lot along Federal Highway on Sunday morning.

Officers responded to the CVS at 301 N. Federal Highway around 9 a.m., and met with the girl, who said she was walking in the parking lot when she noticed a tan four-door car following her.
The driver, a black man wearing a red hat, offered her $20 to have sex with him. The girl refused, went inside CVS for her safety and had a clerk call 911.

The suspect vehicle is believed to be an older model Toyota Camry or Honda Accord.

We encourage any child who is approached by a stranger to do exactly what this girl did. Run to the nearest store or public place where there are other people and immediately call 911.

Anyone who recognizes the vehicle pictured here is urged to call Boynton Beach Police at 561-732-8116 or Crime Stoppers of Palm Beach County at 800-458-TIPS. Information can also be submitted via our MyPD app and www.bbpd.org. You can remain anonymous.
