BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office says it’s still trying to notify the family of the 34 year old man killed Tuesday morning on Palmetto Park Road. They can only confirm at this point that he is from Mount Dora, Florida.
According to PBSO, Benjamin Muschel of Cypress Crescent in Boca was heading eastbound “in the 7000 block of Palmetto Park Road within the center lane. Pedestrian (P1) was attempting to cross form the south side of Palmetto Park Road to the north, and walked out into the path of (Muschel). Muschel struck the pedestrian within the center lane. The pedestrian came to final rest on the roadway where he was pronounced deceased by Fire Rescue.”
No charges have been filed, the investigation continues. The 7000 block of Palmetto Park Road is roughly the intersection of Powerline.
