Boca PD Identifies Car Type That Killed Asia McClave

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Source: Boca PD) — Traffic Homicide Investigators with the Boca Raton Police Services Department continue to search for the vehicle involved in a deadly hit and run, which occurred on Monday night. As a result of further investigation, it was determined the car that struck and killed Asia McClave was a 2011 or 2012 Hyundai Sonata limited edition. The color of the car is iridescent silver blue pearl. This model had a turn signal and heater element in the side mirror. That model also had a sunroof and leather interior.

The crash occurred Monday, December 10, 2018, at 7:33 p.m., in the area of 700 West Glades Road. 20-year-old Asia McClave, was crossing West Glades Road when a silver or gray vehicle crashed into her in the eastbound lanes. The vehicle fled the scene eastbound on West Glades Road at a high rate of speed. McClave was pronounced deceased on the scene.
