Road Construction Update For Palm Beach County

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — As 2019 starts, getting around Palm Beach County remains challenging in many places as FDOT starts — or continues — several projects.

Here is the updated list of traffic advisories in effect through January 11, 2019.

Restrictions: The Flagler Memorial Bridge, in West Palm Beach and Palm Beach, may have the south sidewalk closed at 7 a.m., with the outside eastbound lane and sidewalk closed, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Mondays only beginning Jan. 7, through January 2019, for handrail replacement. Restrictions: Southern Boulevard at Cleary Road, in West Palm Beach, will have the outside westbound lane and sidewalk closed, 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, through Friday, Mar. 22, for direction boring and conduit installation. Restrictions: Southern Boulevard, from Sansbury Way to Lamstein Lane, in West Palm Beach, will have the outside westbound lane and sidewalk closed, 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, through Friday, Mar. 22, for direction boring and conduit installation. Restrictions: Military Trail, between Okeechobee Boulevard and Elmhurst Road, in West Palm Beach, will have the outside southbound lane closed, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, through Jan. 18, for roadway resurfacing. Restrictions: 45th Street and Australian Ave., at the SFRTA Railroad tracks, and Australian Avenue and Mangonia Drive, in West Palm Beach, may have intermittent outside lane closures in each direction, 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, through Monday, Dec. 31, for FPL pole replacement. Restrictions: Southern Boulevard, from Cleary Road to 70th Drive North, in West Palm Beach, will have the outside westbound through and bike lanes closed, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, through Friday, Mar. 8, for turn lane and driveway installation, and relocation of light poles. Restrictions: Military Trail, from Lake Worth Road to Charlotte Street, in Lake Worth, may have one lane closed in each direction, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, through Friday, Jan. 11, for directional boring operations and fiber optic cable installation. Restrictions: Military Trail, between 45th Street and Shiloh Drive, in West Palm Beach, will have one northbound lane closed, 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, through Friday, Mar. 8, for FPL maintenance operations. Restrictions: Boynton Beach Boulevard just east of Lyons Road, in Boynton Beach, will have the westbound outside lane closed, around-the-clock, through Friday, Jan. 11, for new turn lane operations at the entrance to Cobblestone. Restrictions: State Road 80/15/N. Main Street, from just north of Poinciana Street to south of the Railroad tracks, in Belle Glade, will have the northbound lane closed, 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, through Monday, Jan. 14, for FPL pole replacement. Restrictions: Atlantic Avenue at Military Trail, in Delray Beach, will have the outside eastbound lane and shoulder closed, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, beginning Thursday, Jan. 3, through Friday, Jan. 11, for thermoplastic striping installation. Restrictions: US 1/Broadway, from Circle Drive to W. 34th Street, in West Palm Beach, will have the inside left lane closed, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, beginning Thursday, Jan. 3, through Friday, Jan. 11, for paving operations at AT&T manholes. Restrictions: Military Trail, just south of Forest Hill Boulevard, in Palm Springs, may have the outside lane and shoulder closed, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, beginning Thursday, Jan. 3, through Friday, Jan. 11, for curb and driveway ramp replacement. Restrictions: State Road A1A/Jack Nicklaus Drive, between Twelve Oaks Way and Portage Landing, in North Palm Beach, may have the eastbound lane closed, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, beginning Thursday, Jan. 3, through Monday, Jan. 14, for pole replacement and overhead maintenance operations. Restrictions: State Road A1A/Jack Nicklaus Drive, between Twelve Oaks Way and Portage Landing, in North Palm Beach, may have the eastbound lane closed, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, beginning Thursday, Jan. 3, through Monday, Jan. 14, for pole replacement and overhead maintenance operations. Restrictions: State Road A1A north of Osceola Drive, in Boca Raton, will have the northbound lane closed, 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, beginning Thursday, Jan. 3, through Friday, Jan. 18, for FPL pole maintenance. Restrictions: Southern Boulevard, between Lamstein Lane and Royal Commerce Road, will have the westbound right turn lane closed around-the-clock, beginning Monday, Jan. 7, through Friday, Jan. 25, for underground utility work. Restrictions: Military Trail at Johnson Dairy Road, in Palm Beach Gardens, may have one lane closed in each direction, 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, beginning Thursday, Jan. 3, through Thursday, Jan. 31, for directional boring operations. Restrictions: The northbound and southbound turn lanes from State Road 7 to Sandalfoot Boulevard, in Boca Raton, will be closed around-the-clock through February 2019, for bridge replacement by the Palm Beach County Traffic Division. Restrictions: East Camino Real Bridge Closure at Intracoastal Waterway, City of Boca Raton, through April 2019—The Bridge is closed for construction through mid-April of 2019. East Camino Real will be closed from the Royal Palm Way/Boca Raton Resort and Club Roundabout to Cocoanut Road. Traffic will be detoured via Federal Highway (US 1), S.E. Mizner Boulevard, East Palmetto Park Road, and South Ocean Boulevard (State Road A1A). Local traffic accessing Spanish River Road will be closed at East Camino Real. Local traffic will be able to access Spanish River Road via Cocoanut Road and Ponce De Leon Road. The Hurricane Evacuation Route will be Palmetto Park Road.
