Boca’s Logan Aschendorf Injured In Fiery I-95 Crash

VOLUSIA COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — Boca Raton resident Logan Aschendorf, 22, was pulled from a burning 2018 Cadillac SUV after it was struck head-on by a car driving the wrong way on I-95 early this morning.

FHP tells BocaNewsNow.com that Aschendorf was traveling Southbound on I-95 in Volusia County just after midnight when 23 year old Devon Standish of Dayton Beach — driving a 2010 Honda Insight — drove North in the Southbound lanes.

“The front of (Standish’s) car struck the front of (Aschendorf’s) car head-on. (Aschendorf’s) car then caught fire. A Volusia County Deputy and an Edgewater Police Officer arrived on the scene and pulled (Aschendorf) from the burning car.”

The crash remains under investigation.
