BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — James Caputo, who lists a Fort Lauderdale home address, was in his mom’s house in Boca Raton when he apparently couldn’t find his ring.
A Boca Raton Police report says the 51 year did what all 51 year olds do when they can’t find something — he “pushed (his mom) to the ground.”
According to the report: “James advised he could not locate his lost ring so he decided to look for it. James stated while he was searching for his ring, he pushed his mother because she would not get out of the way which caused her to fall to the ground.”
James’ mother is 72 years old.
James Caputo is being held on $1,000 bond in the Palm Beach County Jail. He is charged with battery on a person 65 years of age or older.
