Smell Of Smoke: Controlled Burn Impacting Palm Beach County

DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — Palm Beach County Fire Rescue is alerting all county residents that if you are in the central or western part of the county and smelling smoke, there is likely no reason to be concerned.

There is a massive 22,043 acre controlled burn under way near the southern areas of Lake Okeechobee. The wind, according to forestry officials, is blowing smoke into all areas of Palm Beach County.
