Flying Southwest or American For Spring Break? Think Again

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — If you’re planning to fly American Airlines or Southwest from Fort Lauderdale, Miami or West Palm Beach for spring break which starts for many on Friday afternoon, you may want to check with your airline.

The FAA is now grounding all Boeing 737 Max 8 and Max 9 jets — these are planes used by American and Southwest.

The 737 Max has suffered two fatal crashes in the past several months.
