POLICE: Boca Burglar Busted

West Boca Raton, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Source: PBSO Media Advisory) — Just before NOON on March 11, 2019, two suspects arrived in a cab to a residence in Mission Bay, unincorporated Boca Raton.  After exiting the cab the female checked the mailbox then joined the male as he walked to the back of the house.  Both suspects were captured on surveillance video smashing the window of a rear door to gain entry.  Once inside the suspects helped themselves to jewelry and other miscellaneous items.

Investigative leads led detectives to Marcos Salas, DOB: 3/10/85of Boca Raton, as the male suspect involved in the burglary. He was arrested by detectives on Monday, March 18, 2019. He was interviewed and admitted to his involvement in the burglary.

Salas will be attending first appearance this morning.  The female has been identified, however, is still being sought after by detectives.
