Boca’s Michael Magill, Teetering On Canal, Charged With DUI

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — Boca Raton resident Michael Magill is facing a DUI charge following a rescue response Friday in which his car was found teetering on a canal bank, with him inside.

The car was found in the 16100 block of Half Mile Road in Delray which runs south from Atlantic Avenue, between Lyons and 441.

According to a police report which included observations from rescue personnel, Magill, of Woodfield Blvd. in Boca, was “in vehicle that is halfway down embankment of canal. ON arrival, male was found in vehicle sitting in driver seat with car running. Male was awake and responded to us by shutting car off and came outside of vehicle. Patient had obvious smell of ETOH. When asked if he drank tonight, he responded yes.”
