BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Source: PBCFR Media Advisory) — At 3:40pm crews responded to reports of a fire on the 7000 block of La Paz Blvd in the Boca Pointe development. First arriving firefighters reported flames and smoke from a balcony. The crews quickly went to the affected apartment unit and started a fire attack. The fire was brought under control and crews did an excellent job preventing it from spreading to adjacent units. At this time the fire is out and overhaul operations have begun. There were no reports of any injuries and a fire investigator is responding to the scene.
