BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (May 8, 2020) — Florida Governor Ron DeSantis just announced an afternoon news conference in West Palm Beach.
Palm Beach County Mayor Dave Kerner will be sharing the stage.
The announcement comes just a day after the Palm Beach County board of County Commissioners sent a letter to DeSantis asking him to allow Palm Beach County to move to a “phase one” reopening. That would permit a very soft, controlled opening of Palm Beach County. It would include beaches, some restaurants, some businesses — but not gyms.
