DELRAY BEACH, FL ( — Get Ready Set Grow Academy on Jog Road in Delray Beach is reopening for the academic year, as well as summer camp.

The school year resumes next week — it extends an extra 8 weeks before summer camp begin in July.

Several parents have contacted expressing concern over the school’s opening — and its apparent refusal to issue refunds.

The school itself has created a two page document with its plans for cleanliness and social distancing. Parents question how little kids can be kept “socially distant” during a school day or summer camp.

Below read the Get Ready Set Grow plan. We have reached out to management and will update when/if we receive comment.

Here is the email sent from the school to parents, the attachments follow:

Dear Parents,

Now that Palm Beach County is in phase one, we will be opening for our official academic extension starting Monday, May 18th.  We will be making up 9 weeks of schooling and enrichments. Our extension will be from 5/18 – 7/17. The school will be closed for holidays on May 25th and July 3rd. Parent Teacher Conferences will take place via telephone over the next month, your teachers will reach out to you to schedule the call. We are waiting to see if restrictions are lifted further to decide what we will be doing for Graduation and Art Basel.

Our last day of virtual learning will be held this Friday, May 15th. I want to thank our entire team for taking on this new challenge of virtual learning. Great job ladies!

Our Summer Camp will open on Monday, July 20th. If you are signed up for the 20/21 Year-Round Program, your program will start when camp opens and your missed weeks will be credited towards the 2021 Summer Camp. If you are not and would like to join us, I have attached a Summer Camp form. I have also attached guidelines we will all be following when we re-open.
