DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2021 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Two tractor trailers collided on the Florida Turnpike early Friday morning, causing traffic havoc and requiring a callout of rescue teams.

Palm Beach County Fire rescue, which released the photos you see here, relied on its Special Ops team to help control the scene.

From PBCFR: “(We) responded to reports of motor vehicle accident (MVA) SB lanes on the Turnpike just North of Atlantic Ave at 5:28am.

First arriving units reported 2 tracker trailers with heavy damage. Firefighters were able to mitigate all hazards on scene and traffic was restored.

One patient was transported to a local trauma hospital.”

It was not immediately clear how the crash occurred or the companies responsible for the tractor trailers.
