DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2021 MetroDesk Media, LLC) (News App readers access full report here) — A Delray Beach man who owns a home in Viscaya is facing multiple charges following a series of events at The Breakers in Palm Beach.
Palm Beach Police arrested Jeffrey Goolst of 7104 Demedici Circle in Delray Beach after he allegedly engaged in a drunken fit of bizarre behavior, capped by kicking a police officer in the groin, pushing a hotel guest, screaming “go F yourself,” punching another police officer, and then resisting arrest even after he was placed in handcuffs.
Police wrote, in their report, that Goolst “smelled of an unknown alcoholic beverage.”

Goolst, who told police he’s a Baltimore area stockbroker, is now charged with trespass after warning, resisting an officer with violence, disorderly intoxication, and battery on a law enforcement officer.
He was booked into jail on Wednesday and later released on his own recognizance.
