BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2021 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Dean Sebring, who self-identifies as a creative director, certainly sent a colorful message to his sister. A police report obtained by BocaNewsNow.com reveals that Sebring left a sword on her bed, broke eggs on her pillow, and allegedly sent threatening text messages. Why did he do it? Sebring allegedly told police he wanted to send a message to her like placing a “horse head on a bed from The Godfather.”
We reported on Sebring’s stalking arrest on Tuesday. We now have the narrative of the police report. If you are reading in a news app, use this for full access to our report.
Wrote Boca Raton Police Officer Jacob Rochetti:
“Upon arrival I met with [REDACTED] outside of the residence who advised she lives with her brother Dean Sebring. [Redacted] stated Sebring has been drinking throughout the night and every time he does, he becomes verbally aggressive. [Redacted] went on to say around 1800 hours Sebring began sending threatening text messages to [Redacted] and continued throughout the night asking about money.
In the text it states that [Redacted] owes Sebring $ 40. Sebring went on to say if he does not receive the money then [Redacted] would be a “dead man walking”. In another text message Sebring also stated, “You’re fucking dead”.
Sebring arrived back at the residence around 2000 hours and fearing that Sebring would carry out the threats, [Redacted] barricaded herself in her bedroom. Shortly after arriving Sebring left the residence and [Redacted] took the opportunity to leave as well. When [Redacted] returned at around 2100 hours, she noticed that Sebring had returned and that her bedroom door was opened. When [Redacted] went into her bedroom, she found a Sword on her bed from her with a note attached that said, “Just in case.”
[Redacted] also noticed that eggs had been broken on her bed pillow along with a chair thrown onto her bed. [Redacted] and Sebring got into another verbal argument and [Redacted] began to fear for her life because it appeared Sebring was becoming very aggressive.
It was at this moment when she left the residence again and called 911. I then read Sebring his constitutional rights from him which was recorded.
Sebring agreed to speak with me about the incident. Sebring stated he understood that sending the text messages were wrong. I then asked Sebring about the sword placed on the bed with a note. Sebring stated yes, he did put the sword there and that he received it from his father from him who obtained it in Vietnam. I asked Sebring why he placed it on the bed, and he stated he wanted to make a statement like the Godfather placing a horse head in the bed.”
Sebring was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail early Tuesday morning. He was released later in the day. A court date is pending.
