BROWARD COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2021 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Saturday’s bomb threat at the Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport is leading to a day of flight delays and cancelations.

Data from the FLL flight board and FlightAware’s “Misery Map” shows that at least 144 flights in and out of FLL are or were delayed, with at least 9 cancellations.

By the numbers: JetBlue canceled 7 flights. American Airlines canceled 2 flights.

JetBlue delayed 64 flights. Spirit delayed 38 flights. Delta delayed 16 flights. Allegiances delayed 9 flights. American Airlines delayed 6 flights. United delayed 4 flights. Southwest delayed 3 flights. Air Canada delayed 2 flights. Silver Airways and Bahamasair each delayed one flight.

Terminals 2 and 3 at Fort Lauderdale Airport were both shut down around 8:30 a.m. due to a bomb threat. The Broward Sheriff’s Office gave the “all clear” just after 12:30 p.m.
