BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2021 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Palmetto Park Road is set to close later Sunday.
The Florida Department of Transportation says the road will close at 11 p.m. tonight (Sunday, July 11th, 2021) and remain shut until 5 a.m. Monday morning as crews continue work on projects that are ongoing in the area.
FDOT says the course will start at I-95 Eastbound. It is unclear how far the construction zone will last. Assume that you will have no access to I-95 if you are heading east on Palmetto Park overnight.
Detours will be set-up Sunday evening, and will utilize Military Trail and Hillsboro Blvd.
Should thunderstorms move into the area tonight, the detour will be delayed until Monday night.
