BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2021 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — School hasn’t even been in session for two weeks, yet there are now 1,335 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the Palm Beach County School District. Of those cases, 1,183 are student cases. 152 are listed as employees.
At least 2000 people are quarantined, meaning they can not come to school for several days. With no “distance learning: option permitted by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, quarantined students can only download school work and attempt to complete that work on their own.

Binks Forest Elementary: 15 student cases.
Boca Raton Community High School: 22 student cases.
Boca Raton Community Middle School: 10 student cases.
Boca Raton Elementary: 3 student cases and 1 employee case.
Boynton Beach Community High: 3 student cases.
Calusa Elementary: 18 student cases and 1 employee case.
Congress Middle School: 6 student cases and 1 employee case.
Coral Reef Elementary: 26 student cases and 3 employee cases.
Don Estridge High Tech Middle: 14 student cases.
Eagles Landing Middle: 5 student cases and 1 employee case.
Frontier Elementary: 15 student cases and 1 employee case.
Hammock Pointe Elementary: 7 student cases and 1 employee case.
Jupiter Community High: 40 student cases.
Loggers’ Run Community Middle: 14 student cases and 3 employee cases.
Morikami Park Elementary: 10 student cases and 1 employee case.
Olympic Heights Community High: 21 student cases and 3 employees.
Palm Beach Central High: 31 student cases and 1 employee case.
Panther Run Elementary: 12 student cases.
Polo Park Middle School: 9 student cases.
Santaluces Community High: 16 student cases and 2 employee cases.
Sunrise Park Elementary: 7 student cases.
Sunset Palms Elementary: 28 student cases and 1 employee case.
Waters Edge Elementary: 2 student cases and 1 employee.
Wellington Community High: 28 student cases.
West Boca Raton Community High: 17 student cases and 2 employee cases.

Woodlands Middle School: 21 student cases and 3 employee cases.
The Palm Beach County School District tends to report cases publicly three days after officials are first told of a case. The real numbers are likely higher, and in some cases much higher, than what is being reported.
