Cleanliness Issues, Untrained Workers According To Inspection Report.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2021 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — An extremely popular Boca Raton pizza and Italian food restaurant was just warned by a health inspector from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.
That restaurant now faces an unannounced follow-up inspection.
Nick’s New Haven at 2240 NW 19th Street received two “high priority violations,” three “intermediate violations” and three “basic violations” during the inspection on August 19th.
This is the official text of the violations:
High Priority – Time/temperature control for safety food cold held at greater than 41 degrees Fahrenheit. pizza sauce (50°F – Cold Holding) Observed at pizza make table. Chef stated that he took the pizza sauce out to make pizzas and moved container to reach-in cooler. **Corrected On-Site**

Intermediate – Water with a temperature of at least 100 degrees Fahrenheit not provided/shut off at employee handwash sink. Observed at hand-wash sink next to fryer.
Basic – Bowl or other container with no handle used to dispense sugar. Chef removed. **Corrected On-Site**
