Fear New DeSantis “Rule” Will Lead To Case Explosion.

While the mask mandate remains in effect for Palm Beach County School District students and teachers, the mandatory quarantine for those students exposed to someone with COVID does not. Florida’s new surgeon general, who shares many of the same COVID-19 believes as Governor Ron DeSantis, issued a new rule prohibiting student quarantines this week.

Boca Raton Middle School: 55 COVID-19 cases.
Calusa Elementary: 55 COVID-19 cases.
Coral Reef Elementary: 82 COVID-19 cases.
Don Estridge High Tech Middle: 38 COVID-19 cases.
Eagles Landing Middle: 43 COVID-19 cases.
Hammock Pointe Elementary: 46 COVID-19 cases.
Jupiter High: 133 COVID-19 cases.
Loggers Run Middle: 52 COVID-19 cases.
Morikami Park Elementary: 31 COVID-19 cases.
Olympic Heights High: 66 COVID-19 cases.
Omni Middle: 42 COVID-19 cases.
Seminole Ridge High: 155 COVID-19 cases.
Spanish River High: 67 COVID-19 cases.
Sunrise Park Elementary: 40 COVID-19 cases.
Verde K-8: 64 COVID-19 cases.

School officials tell BocaNewsNow.com that there is growing concern that these numbers will dramatically rise without the ability to issue a “stay at home directive” to students exposed to COVID-19.
