BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2021 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — What would Boca Raton be without the never-ending sea of yellow and blue license plates? Perhaps calmer and nicer.
But New York license plates are a staple of South Palm Beach County, and with them, the apparent New Yorkers who bring their entitled, elitist ways to the area. And because of them, we have our latest edition of “Boca Rudeton!”
In today’s installment, we’ve learned the woman driving this car decided to park in the “curbside” pickup spot at Chick-Fil-A on Glades Road in Boca Raton. When confronted, she told our tipster that she didn’t know that it was a curbside spot, that she didn’t see the gigantic sign in front of her car, and had no idea that restaurant workers use it for fast curbside delivery at the always busy restaurant.
Never mind the 30 or so empty spots just yards away. The woman with New York plates just had to park there — befuddling restaurant workers and other customers trying to pull up, have their waiting food delivered to the specific assigned space, and drive off.
Lady driving a white VW with NY Tag JJL-6601, we award you our Boca Rudeton™ Spotlight of the day! Congratulations! Go ahead and order a Chick-Fil-A lemonade on us. But you can only pick it up on a Sunday. (Go on any Sunday, and them BocaNewsNow.com sent you).
