DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2021 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A Delray Beach man in his late 50s was stabbed in the eye during an altercation on Dorson Way in the Delray Shores development.
The altercation, which is being described as a domestic situation, was dispatched by Fire Rescue just after 9:45 Thursday morning. Rescuers were told to “stage” before entering the home as police needed to ensure the scene was safe before medics could enter.
The victim was rushed to Delray Medical Center, the area’s trauma facility.
Police remain on the scene. We will update when and if charges are filed.
