UPDATE: From Palm Beach County Fire Rescue at 11:55 p.m: “Palm Beach County Fire Rescue responded to reports of a residential structure fire on Linksview Way in Boca Raton at 8:45pm. First arriving units reported a duplex with heavy fire and smoke showing. Firefighters initiated an aggressive fire attack and quickly applied water on the fire. Crews worked diligently to extinguish the fire and mitigate all hazards on scene. Three dogs were rescued and three patients were transported to a local hospital. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.”

Reports from first responders indicate a house fire with two separate fires burning. This is preliminary and unverified. It is believed the house is vacant.
The fire is in the 20500 Block of Linksview Way in the Cypress Point Villas section of Boca West.
Flames are reportedly visible. The call was first dispatched around 8:50 p.m.
