BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2021 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — (10:10 AM December 29, 2021) — The Boca Raton Police Department tells us that Palmetto Park Road is closed east of the Intracoastal Bridge due to a gas leak in the area.

The closure starts in the area of NE 5th Avenue. Traffic is closed in the westbound lane.

It is not immediately clear what led to the gas leak, or how long the road will be closed. Police suggest seeking alternate routes to avoid traffic backups.
