BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — JetBlue has a new nickname from angry travelers going nowhere fast in and out of South Florida — it’s ”JetScrew.” Joined by Delta, United, Alaska, Spirit, and others, travelers hoping to get in or out of South Florida are finding a very challenging experience.
As of 9 a.m. Monday, there are mass cancellations and delays across flight boards at Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport, Palm Beach International, and Miami International. While COVID is playing a huge role in the flight problems, weather today is also an issue. A winter storm is working its way across the mid-Atlantic, creating a domino effect across the entire United States.
