BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The fire near Ocean Blvd. and Palmetto Park Road, burning since late Sunday afternoon, is now out. Boca Raton Fire Rescue just issued the following advisory:

On Sunday January 2, 2022, at 4:06pm, Boca Raton Firefighters responded to a structure fire in an abandoned apartment complex located at 155 S Ocean Blvd, Boca Raton. Firefighters arrived quickly and began fighting the fire in a 3-story apartment complex.

The fire consumed approximately 1/3 of the structure before crews were able to extinguish the blaze. There were no injuries to civilians or firefighters. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
