COVID Death Toll Rises By 36 In Florida Hospitals On Tuesday.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — While Florida Governor Ron DeSantis closes his eyes to the latest COVID problem in the state, hospitals workers have their eyes wide-open to the growing numbers of COVID patients being admitted daily.
The United States Department of Health and Human Services says 2,014 adults and 116 children, under age 18, were admitted to a Florida hospital for COVID-19 treatment on Tuesday. That brings the number hospital beds in use for COVID-19 patients to 7,647. At least 36 COVID deaths were reported on Tuesday in Florida medical facilities.
By comparison, 94 people in Florida are hospitalized Influenza, and no deaths were reported on Tuesday from the Flu.
Palm Beach County’s positivity rate as of late Tuesday remains at a record high of 35.94 percent over seven days. We expect an updated number late Wednesday.
