BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The Tijuana Flats franchise at 22191 Powerline Road in Boca Raton is being sued by Boca Raton Palms Plaza — the landlord that oversees the shopping center where the restaurant first opened in 2011.
According to the lawsuit reviewed by BocaNewsNow.com and published in its entirety below, Tijuana Flats was in the midst of a lease at the rate of $11,822.57 per month. But according to the suit, the Tijuana Flats franchise hadn’t paid in months. The suit seeks nearly $60,000 in back rent.
The Tijuana Flats lease continues through November 30th, 2022. Other locations in the area are unaffected by the lease or the suit.
