PALM BEACH SCHOOLS: Now More Than 9,000 COVID Cases

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The Palm Beach County School District passed the 9,000 COVID case mark overnight, now reporting 9,060 cases since the start of the school year. The district added 234 cases on Wednesday.

That brings the total since school resumed following the holiday break to 1,248.

The top twenty schools in Palm Beach County by most number of COVID cases: Seminole Ridge High, Palm Beach Central High, Jupiter High, Wellington HIgh, Olympics Heights High, Boca Raton High, Spanish River High, Woodlands Middle Community School, John L. Leonard High, Park Vista Community High, William T. Dwyer High, Coral Reef Elementary, West Boca Raton Community High, Verde K-8.

The school district logged a total of 3,855 during the 2020-2021 school year. The current infection total is nearly two and a half times the entire count from last year.
