BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Delray Beach resident Jeffrey Goolst is being held in the Palm Beach County Jail on multiple, serious charges following his arrest by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office late Saturday.
Goolst is charged with six counts of “aggravated assault with a firearm on a person 65 years of age or older,” “burglary of an occupied conveyance,” “false imprisonment,” “battery on a person 65 years of age or older,” “throwing deadly missile at building,” “criminal mischief valued at $1000 or more,” “resist officer without violence.”
The official arrest report is still being processed. We will update our reporting once it is released.
We first reported on Mr. Goolst last March when he was arrested for allegedly pushing a guest at “The Breakers” and then kicking a police officer in the groin. Our reporting led Mr. Goolst to ask several times for BocaNewsNow.com to remove the report, as he claimed it was hurting his ability to gain entrance into Canada to see his family.
Canadian officials do not routinely rely on news media reports to determine who gains entrance into Canada and who does not.
Goolst lives in the 7100 block of Demedici Circle in Vizcaya. Bond had not been set for the latest charges as of 8:45 Monday morning.
