BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The Florida Department of Transportation is warning motorists: part of I-95 is going to shut completely in the days ahead.
From FDOT:
“I-95 southbound lanes at Glades Road will be closed to traffic overnight, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Monday, Jan. 31 and Tuesday, Feb. 1 for bridge beam setting. During this closure, motorists will be detoured via the I-95 southbound exit ramp to Glades Road, Powerline Road and Palmetto Park Road. Wednesday, Feb. 2 and Thursday, Feb. 3 will be used as contingency nights if needed. FHP will be on site to assist motorists.”

Additionally: “I-95 northbound at Glades Road will be closed overnight, 11 p.m., until 5 a.m., Monday, Jan. 31 for bridge beam installation. During this closure, motorists will be detoured via the I-95 northbound exit to Glades Road, US-1/Federal Highway and Yamato Road. Wednesday, Feb. 2 and Thursday, Feb. 3 will be used as contingency nights if needed. FHP will be on site to assist motorists.”
