Overnight Shooting In West Boca Raton Leaves One Man Injured.

UPDATE: 8:39 a.m: PBSO tells BocaNewsNow.com that “an unknown Black male robbed a 34 year old male’s necklace while standing outside O’Connor’s Pub. The victim chased the suspect into the parking lot where the suspect shot the victim in the hand. The suspect fled in a vehicle and is apparently still on the loose.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — An overnight shooting at O’Connor’s Pub in West Boca Raton left one man injured. It was not immediately clear if an arrest was made.

Sources tell BocaNewsNow.com that a man in his early 20s was shot in the hand around 1:20 a.m. It is unknown why he was shot or by what size bullet. The injury was not considered life-threatening.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office as well as several rescue units were dispatched to the scene.

O’Connor’s Pub is located at 9900 Sandalfoot Blvd. in Boca Raton. The victim, sources say, was transported to Delray Medical Center for emergency trauma care. We are expecting an update from PBSO later this morning.
