SHOOTING: Tri-Rail Locked Down After Shooting At Congress Station

DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — One man was shot and another is being questioned following a Thursday night shooting at the Tri-Rail station on Congress Avenue in Delray Beach.

According to Delray Beach Police: “(We) are investigating a shooting that happened at the Tri-Rail station on Congress Avenue. It happened around 9:15 Thursday evening. A man was shot by another man after a brief scuffle between the two. The man who was shot was taken to the hospital. The other man was not injured. Police are talking with the man who fired the weapon. The Tri-Rail station was shut down for about 90 minutes.”

The victim was transported to Delray Medical Center with what sources describe as an “abdominal wound.” His condition was unclear early Friday morning.

No arrest was logged as of 6:40 a.m. Friday.
